An exciting opportunity to join a young and innovative company with big ambitions in Online Marketing, especially Social Media in Amsterdam. As an intern at Amplify Media, you will be joining us at an exciting time as we begin a lot of interesting projects. You must have a real passion/interest in Social Media as this position offers fantastic opportunities for somebody looking to learn more about it especially, as well as Web Design, SEO & Video Production.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Amplify Media with daily duties as needed...
• Social Media: assist on Social Media projects for clients, helping build communities, updating Facebook & Twitter profiles, helping develop effective Social Media strategies
• Web Design/SEO: Some basic web design with html & CSS as well as improving our clients’ SEO. This will include on‐page optimization, copywriting and link building
• Video Production: contributing video ideas, assiting with storyboards & helping with filming
Requirements:
• Enthusiastic and passionate about about online marketing, especially Social Media. Ideally someone looking for a career and hands-on experience in the industry
• A digital native, someone who spends a lot of time online, knows how it works, recent trends & the big players in Social & beyond
• Strong creative skills (ideally an ‘ideas’ person who thinks outside the square)
• Some experience in Online Marketing techniques is preferred; SEO & Social Media
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Fluent in English (Dutch is also desirable)
• Well organized, as well as the ability to multitask & work to deadlines
• A casual, fun person with a ‘work‐hard, play‐hard’ mentality and a good sense of humour
• Ping Pong skills (or a willingness to learn)!
